How Apertus Solutions Ltd handles personal data, including the business contact details we use when we approach companies about our services.

Who we are
Apertus Solutions Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We operate the brands Vocamus, Novimus and Cresimus. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

If you received an email from us
We contact businesses that we believe may benefit from our services. To do that we hold a small amount of information about a named person at that business: name, job title, business email address, employer, and the publicly available fact that led us to contact you. For example a job advertisement, a company filing, or something published on the company's own website.
Where it comes from. Public sources only: Companies House, the French national business register, published job listings, and companies' own websites. We do not buy contact lists.
Why we may do this. We rely on legitimate interests: promoting our services to businesses likely to have a use for them. We have considered whether this is intrusive and limited it deliberately: a small number of messages a day, to named business roles at corporate bodies, about something relevant to that company.
To stop. Reply with the word "stop", or email us. We act on it immediately and permanently.
How long we keep it
Prospect records are reviewed periodically and deleted when there is no longer a commercial reason to hold them. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep the minimum needed to honour that, usually just your email address on a suppression list, because that is the only way to make sure we do not contact you again by mistake.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or share prospect data. We use a small number of processors to operate the business, including Microsoft (email and calendar) and our hosting provider. Where we use a service to verify that an email address exists, that address is checked and not retained by them for other purposes.
If we run campaigns on behalf of a client, we do so under a written agreement and only with data we have gathered ourselves or that the client lawfully provides.
If you contact us through this site
The enquiry form collects your name, email, company, website, company size and what you tell us about your situation. We use it only to reply to you and to decide whether we can help. It is not added to any marketing list.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy
- Ask us to correct anything wrong
- Ask us to delete it
- Object to us using it for direct marketing, we will always stop
- Ask us to restrict how we use it while a question is resolved

Where data is held
Our records are held in the United Kingdom and in Microsoft's European data centres. If any provider transfers data outside the UK or EEA, that transfer relies on the safeguards permitted by UK GDPR.

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no analytics that identify you.
